I love this bag, but am tragically disappointed that it broke, almost a year after I purchase it to the day.

I shopped online for hours for the perfect backpack. This one is big enough for my mac (I need 17 inches, 16.5 is too short as I learned from my last bag). I love the shiny black leather, laptop pocket padding, the trolley strap, the key clip, security pocket, organizing pockets, and side pockets. They thought of everything. The leather and zippers are great quality and I haven’t had any zipper problems. I’m 5’3” and it’s not too big (pic attached for reference). I also like that it’s Canadian and not made in China.

I purchased the backpack with luggage tag and back strap. The bag came and looks and feels beautiful. The zippers are very smooth and the compartments are large!

These backpacks seem well made—appreciate the thought full design - computer sleeve, specialized pockets, etc. — towards today’s packing needs. I am looking forward to see how the bags age and soften with use and time.

It’s a Christmas gift so I’ll have to wait and see…., but I think the recipient e I’ll be very happy!

I bought this back pack to replace a nylon one. Truth of the matter is that this is not a light backpack. The pockets and zips are truly tough. This will be great once it is broken in, however it took my DSLR iPad, books etc across Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark ,Norway and back.
This backpack is seriously tough. It will outlast me and probably handed down to future generations.

Literally the best deal I’ve ever seen for a leather backpack. The craftsmanship and quality was unreal - I was litterally blown away once I opened it. Highly recommend their products!

The backpacks arrived and we noticed how well they were packaged. The packing was thorough.
The quality is excellent and there are a surprising number of zipped pockets.

I have only used the backpack on this business trip the first time - the leather quality seems very good, thick. Numerous zipper pockets to choose from (love love that feature) for pen, and the back of the backpack, there are two zipper pockets that fit travelling document (secure since it is on my back). I hope this bag endure my travelling because I would like to support Hides (Canadian brand) and maybe buy the cross body tote or belt bag in the future. So far, I love the quality and the storage. The water bottle section fits my hydroflask bottle so well. I bought it on sale and I am not sure if I would shell out that much. The sale made it justifiable to try out this brand

My other comments for Hides: please make the tag (for business card) just a bit bigger as it is difficult to squeeze typical business card

Excellent customer service, the order arrived promptly. The backpack is beautiful. I have also ordered a duffel bag previously and it is also excellent quality. Definitely recommend.

I loved the bag, however it took forever to get here. Plus it was impossible to get it touch with anyone. The tracking was impossible as well.

Love it.

I wanted to love this product but i find it a bit sub par. The outside is a nice colour and the zippers so far have held up. overall the product is really heavy. The one i received had holes in the internal lining. When I emailed customer service they didn’t respond.

I don’t recommend this product, cheap material and bad service!

The backpack I ordered was beautiful and well made but it was way too big for me so I had to return it. I had mentioned during the return process that I wish it was smaller. They reached out to me and offered to custom make one to size for me. They proposed a new smaller sized (including specific dimensions) and work with me on the placement of the straps at no additional charge. The custom order only took 2-3 weeks and shipping was very fast. I just received the bag and it is the perfect backpack. 100% recommend.

I can't say enough good things about my entire experience from the quality of the bag to the customer service!! I bought two other bags and I was so impressed with the quality that I purchased this bag from them. It has a lot of room for everything I need to travel and it's beautiful. Simple elegance!
